Sexual Abuse

Somehow it just never goes away, today I read that in the UK they are now having more young males coming to them who have been sexually abused by their Mothers. There are now several reports describing this phenomena, which although I was always pretty sure some existed I had no idea it was so widespread. This has to be the most difficult subject to understand.
I was once commissioned to do a work based on this subject by the then Health Board, I read 25 books on the subject over a period of 18 months and was still none the wiser as to this world. I had to turn down the commission, the first time I have ever failed at a project of such an emotive nature such as this. The person who commissioned me said that I was not unusual in not being able to respond without being either an abuser or the abused. Both are subjective, and the objective view is it is a crime and is therefore punished.
The psychologists that deal with the Male offenders state that it is not an illness, it is their sexuality. Somehow I feel that there is a piece of this puzzle missing so here I am again a decade later trying to understand the incomprehensible. I know I will return to this again.

Knock Apparitions

Dr Eamonn O’Donoghue, a consultant ophthalmologist surgeon in University Hospital Galway, says the hospital would usually see one case of solar retinopathy “at most” per year. This year he has seen five all of which were caused by staring at the Sun in Knock. He also said that he feels that this is a small sample of people as they said other members of their family were suffering symptoms as well.
Joe Coleman is the person responsible for this and he has “promised” another apparition for next Sunday! I feel no animosity towards him whatsoever, he is delusional and in dire need of treatment and therapy, yet another person let down by the state that cares so much about plastic bags, Public smoking and Sunbeds, but underneath this charade of caring they do not give a flying fuck about the citizens of Ireland. I genuinely feel sympathy towards the people who believe Joe Coleman, they have been neglected by a State that has worked with the Church to keep it’s people ignorant and superstitious while they are one of the highest and in some cases the highest paid public representatives in the World.
And what of the people in power, privileged, powerful, rich, and educated, well they seem to think they are. A degree in law is enough for the two most powerful men in the country, not exactly a difficult degree to get, even easier than an Arts degree. But a degree means nothing, 18% of people with a degree are functionally illiterate! A degree does not guarantee that you will not become what your fathers were, and the people before them. It does not remove ignorance, complacency, corruption, racism, cronyism, in fact if anything it gives them justification for those things.
People say about the Travelling people “that’s just the way they are and always will be, sure it’s inbreeding” It is not inbreeding, we have to inbreed very closely for drop in intellect. It is sadly a backward nation that has only recently discovered it’s sexuality, a gangling spotty faced awkward adolescent who will hopefully soon kick off the traces and rebel against it’s fathers and leaders.

Firing Squad

His commander gave the orders, “Shoot straight, shoot true, aim for the heart not the soul” He placed the end of his barrel on the rusty gun prop and took aim but he was too low to see the target, moving upwards on the small hillock he re-aimed and brought the sight in line with the head and down to the heart and pulled the trigger, a dull click, nothing happened, the rest of the firing squad looked at him wondering what was wrong and if the same would happen to them, damp powder or bad detonators, it had never happened before to any of them. He stood up to re-load and unconsciously his eyes moved to the target. It was always just a target, an object, an exercise and he was good, if not the best. As his eyes focused on the target he saw that it was no soldier, this was not even an adult. this was a young boy who was not even tied to the post, he was standing as if he was waiting for someone. Without any thought he started walking towards the boy to get a closer look and as he did with severe shock he recognised the boy, he kept walking until he reached the boy and dropping his rifle he picked him up, holding him across his chest and turned slowly and faced the firing squad with the boy across his chest.

UN Climate Change Conference

A week to go and already AVVAZ.org are organising a worldwide candle-lit vigil to, well I am a bit confused at what the activists are wanting, sounds like a scrap with some cops to me, with anything between 10 and 30,000 activists expected to arrive in the city for the meeting. They say the support the summit and Naomi Klein, the Canadian author has stated “it’s really tricky for activists in terms of figuring out how you interact with a summit like this.” and UK-based protester Isabel Jama said “We’ll definitely be met with violence from the police.”
The authorities in Copenhagen have converted several warehouses into prisons and hurried through a new law to arrest people who “might” breach the peace. I really think that the whole Global warming scenario stinks to high heaven of a Global tax with Al gore at the helm, but I really wonder what these activists bring to it other than looking like a shower of loonies. In fact they make Al Gore look like the “good” guy facing these nutters. I am seriously beginning to think that these loonies are rented out whenever a their is a smoke screen needed to deflect media away from the real issues.
I have often felt that if I wanted to do something that it would be the curse of death to have those guys on your side but now I see that if I wanted to do something nasty the best people to have on your side is these nutters as you automatically get sympathy from the public before they ever examine the issues. No fool Al Gore, is he?

Ryanair Calender

Ryanair produce a calender with their staff clad in bikinis or whatever they find leftover in cabins (joke), this years calender has, guess what 12 girls! two from Ireland even. The proceeds from the calender go to charities no not Michael O’Leary, but to helping to raise €300,000 over the last 3 years for Angels Quest, the Dublin Simon Community and ‘KIDS’ charities. There is no surcharges, no weight restrictions, no hidden costs, all good you say, who could find fault with that?
The National Women’s Council of Ireland do! They have taken umbrage to the calender saying it is “old fashioned” and lacks imagination. If they meant that the girls have far too much covered I would agree with them, even maybe have some pilot on stewardess action, but I don’t think that is what these fuck-wits mean.
We pay this Quango €1,000,000 per annum to criticise MOL’s taste in calenders, what a complete waste of money on a council that will not allow a man to sit on it while trying to push for a female quota in the government. Must send them a link to here…
Maybe I start my own council in 2010, call it the Nasty Women’s Council of Ireland, and have no women allowed on it, in fact no-one except myself, and of course bring out a calender!
